The Love Note Music Studio exists to cultivate beauty, joy, discipline, courage, connection, belonging, and love in a vibrant musical community where people of all walks of life and ages gather to sing, play, and grow together. Music is the universal language that shapes the heart, strengthens the soul, and brings people together. Through the creative aspect of making music, sharing song, and shared experience, we nurture skill, character, and joyful connection and love.
Group Music Instruction
Through small group instruction, we learn and grow together in our instrumental skills while building on all aspects of musicianship of listening, creating, responding, connecting, reading and writing music, and experiencing the joy of playing individually and also playing together. Group instruction programs are designed with sharing and showcasing talent in a performance.
Community Jams
Through singing, strumming (playing any instrument really), and shared experience, we nurture skill, character, and joyful connection. We believe music shapes the soul. When people gather together to sing and create music together, something deeper is formed. These events may be family sing-alongs, community performances, intergenerational ensembles, ukulele jam nights, collaborative worship and/or outreach performances.
Private Music Instruction
With learner-centered instruction, we address the whole learner in instrumental-specific skills and techniques in voice, guitar, piano, ukulele, violin, cello, and bass. The goal is to inspire and develop a positive mindset to encourage practical goal-setting, positive affirmation, and life-long learning and curiosity in oneself. Lessons are designed with the trajectory of sharing and showcasing hard work and talent.
